This recipe is time-consuming but the result is worth it!
PS: This recipe makes 9-12 cookies.
Ingredients:
3 TBSP Of Butter, Softened
1/2 Cup Of Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Of Honey
1 Egg
1 TBSP Of Water
1 TSP Of Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Of Flour
1/2 TSP Of Salt
1/4 TSP Of Baking Soda
1 TSP Of Cinnamon
1 1/2 Cups Of Old Fashioned Oats
1/2 Cup Of Chocolate Chips
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°.
On a baking sheet, spray some cooking oil onto it and set it aside.
In a mixing bowl cream together butter, sugar, and honey.
Add in the egg, water, and vanilla extract and continue to mix using a whisk.
In another bowl, add the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and oats.
Fold the oat mixture and chocolate chips into the butter-egg mixture.
PS: The more you mix it together, the more gluten is formed, leading to a tougher/chewier cookie.
Scoop 1/5 cup of batter onto a lined sheet and place in the oven for 10-20 mins.
PS: If you want the cookie to be chewy, take it out a minute or 2 earlier.
Once the cookies are done, serve with a glass of milk and enjoy!
