This recipe is tedious but so worth it!
PS: This recipe makes 100 cheese crackers.
Ingredients:
4oz Of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 TBSP Of Butter (Cold)
1/2 Cup Of Flour
1/2 TSP Of Salt
1/8 TSP Of Onion Powder
1/8 TSP Of Garlic Powder
1 TBSP Of Water
Directions:
In a food processor, add your shredded cheese, butter, onion powder, and garlic powder.
Blend together and gradually add your flour to the food processor. One scoop at a time.
Add your water to the food processor.
Adjust your cheese dough until the consistency is dough-like. You may need more cheese, flour, or water.
Once it becomes dough-like, chill it in the fridge for 40 minutes, so the next steps could be a lot easier.
Preheat your oven to 300°.
Place your cheese dough in between two pieces of parchment paper and roll it with a rolling pin until the cheese dough is very thin and even.
Remove only the top piece of parchment paper and keep the bottom one.
Eventually, the bottom parchment paper and the cheese will be moved to a baking sheet and the cheese will be cooked on the parchment paper.
Using a knife, cut your dough like this:

Remove the vertical and horizontal skinnier, inner lines leaving just the big squares that are now spaced apart.
You can use your finger or any tool you have to turn the extra, skinnier pieces into a square shape and leave them spaced apart.
Try to leave the shape and spacing similar to the previous ones.
Poke a hole in the middle of each one using a coffee stirrer (straw).
Sprinkle them with salt.
Place them in the oven for about 15-20 mins.
Let them cool for about 10 minutes and enjoy.
