This recipe is easy, vegan, and taste identical to the regular version!
PS: This recipe makes 2-6 servings.
Ingredients:
2 TBSP Of Vegan Butter
2 TBSP Of Flour
2 Cups Of Non-Dairy Milk
A Pinch Of Salt
A Pinch Of Black Pepper
Directions:
Into a pot on medium heat, melt your vegan butter.
Then pour in your flour and mix until it thickens and makes a roux.
Next, pour in your milk and whisk until the sauce thickens.
Lastly, add salt and pepper to taste.
You can use this sauce to make a Vegan, Lent-Friendly, Egyptian Macarona Béchamel.
For the meat alternative, you can use Beefless Ground and season it as you would with regular ground beef.
How To Make A: Vegan, Lent-Friendly, Egyptian Macarona Béchamel
Into a deep dish baking pan, layer cooked pasta (typically penne), beefless ground mixed in a marinara sauce, and your vegan béchamel sauce.
You can top with Italian bread crumbs if you'd like.
Next, place into the oven for about 30-45 minutes at 400°F.
Serve and enjoy!
